Solimar Aquamarine Resort

We really enjoyed our short stay here! Staff was super nice and friendly, especially Areti from reception was just great! Very nice facilities, pool and slides, kids club and bars. Cocktails were very tasty and good selection. Food was good (especially desserts), and we really liked a la carte restaurant. Beach is only in 5 minutes walk. We had junior suite with private pool, the room was big and in quiet location. And hotel dog was just a blast for our kid :)

Small resort that caters to families and has excellent staff!

We had an unforgettable stay at Solimar Aquamarine. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and genuine hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a stunning view that made every morning special. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate, which we really appreciated. The pool and surrounding areas are perfect for relaxation, with plenty of sunbeds and a peaceful environment. The private beach is also just a short walk away, offering a great balance of poolside and seaside leisure. One of the highlights was definitely the food. The variety and quality at the restaurant exceeded our expectations – everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfasts were generous, and dinners offered both local specialties and international dishes. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and professional, always ready with a smile or helpful recommendation. They made us feel truly welcome and added a personal touch to our holiday. Special thanks to Marcus who is the manager and made us feel like home!

Breakfast choice was exceptional. Variety and quality of fresh and cooked food beyond our expectations. Our junior suite was larger than we expected. All rooms looked big. Close to the beach 4 mins. Entertainment at night. Bus stops outside the hotel. Bus ( good drivers and quality) to Chania every 20 mins. Only 2 euro to Chania. Journey time 30 mins. Last bus back 11:30 pm. Plantanias nearby busy at night. 5 mins away towards Chania on the bus. We loved Acqa the Hotel Dog rescue dog. A reason to go backl!!!

We booked this hotel for one week with a private swimming pool. The room was excellent, with a very kind cleaning lady who prepared the room and changed towels every day. The breakfast was okay with limited options, lunch was great and dinner was also okay with limited food. The entertainment only the last night live international music was fantastic. Overall, a very comfortable place to relax for a week
